Job Description

The Loan Officer will be the front-line employee with key contact with potential and existing clients. He/she shall at all times represent the company’s core values of Commitment, Humility, Respect, Integrity, Stewardship and Transformation. The Loan Officer will be responsible for the entire cycle of client relations.

Qualifications and Experience

A graduate with a Diploma or Bachelor’s degree sales and marketing
Proficiency in MS Office packages
Demonstrate high level of organization and leadership skills.
Excellent written and oral skills.
High level of dynamism, autonomy, accuracy and anticipation.
Should possess a positive, outgoing personality a good team player with leadership ability.
Able to communicate fluently in both English and Kiswahili and explain concepts to clients.

Job Description
Meet with applicants to obtain information for loan applications and to answer questions about the process
Analyze applicants financial status, credit and property evaluation to determine feasibility of granting loans
Market to customers the different type of loans and credit options that are available as well as the terms of those services
Obtain and compile copies of loan applicant’s credit histories, corporate financial statements, and other financial information
Review and update credit and loan files
Review loan repayment agreements to ensure that they are complete and accurate according to policy
Compute repayment schedules for customers
