Lesphine Investments limited is a distribution and wholesaling company dealing with fast moving consumer goods and is situated in Busia town within Busia County.

We are looking to hiring a transport and information technology manager who shall be the chief logistician of the company.

Lesphine Investments limited seeks to expand its capacities by recruiting a dynamic Kenyan national for the above position.

Supervisor: Systems & Public Relations Director, Finance & Administration Manager

Department: ManagerialJob Description: The I.T & Transport Manager will be required to ensure that all the ICT systems in the company run optimally.
He will also be responsible for fixing any day to day ICT issues that may arise from time to time ad be in charge of the overall systems maintenance.
Finally, this officer shall be the key logistician of the company coordinating both in house and external transportation needs and will consequently be in charge of the transport department.General Requirements
The IT and Transport Manager must be conversant with computer systems and networking with practical experience in the field.
It shall be mandatory that he demonstrates knowledge and problem solving skills using basic point of sale systems.Knowledge in system usage in compliance with statutory requirements with a stronger emphasis on the various taxation regimes in Kenya.The manager must be a team leader and demonstrate good coordinating skills.

Specific Responsibilities
Coordinate and oversee all IT management systems
Support the Finance Administration Manager in ensuring timely compliance with statutory requirements
Mentor and coach all employees in IT related functions
Prepare and present reports as required by company policy
Recommend and advice on technological policy
Keep an up-to-date assets inventory for equipment under your care
Provide efficient and effective administration support to the Motor Transport function in order to achieve the departments objectives
Motor vehicle Database maintenance/control
Produce accurate and timely management information reports as required
To advise and support sales and stores departments in meeting their logistics need
Data provision for the planning of vehicle replacement
Innovate and challenge the status quo in house vehicle management
Ensure timely compliance with national and county government requirements
Plan schedules for drivers
Ensure that department staff are well trained in customer service and good grooming
Profile

The Ideal Candidates will be:
Holders of a bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related field from a recognized university or diploma in IT from an accredited institution
At least 3 years practical experience as a Network and Computer Systems Administrator
Excellent use of computerized systems
Demonstrate proficiency in various finance and stock management computer packages
Demonstrated ability to work on and improve enterprise management systems
Demonstrated ability to extract management information systems for use in management decision making
Good analytical and interpersonal skills
Willingness to work under pressure and extended hours
Experience in logistics will be a added advantage
