HR Key Manager

Our client, is a recently established company in South Sudan, working in-conjunction with their Kenyan office, is an independent profit center to enable us to provide the desired focus its field of procurement and supplies.


Reporting to: General ManagerDuties:
Overseeing department functions and managing employees.
Must be well-versed with the KENYA LABOUR LAWS and also be familiar with each of the human resources disciplines – compensation and benefits, training and development, employee relations, and recruitment and selection.
Ensure that employees have a safe working environment, free from discrimination and harassment.
Conduct workplace investigations and resolve employee complaints. He / she will also be the primary contact for legal counsel in risk mitigation activities and litigation pertaining to employee relations matters. An example of risk mitigation handled by a human resource manager includes examining current workplace policies and providing training to employees and managers on those policies to minimize the frequency of employee complaints due to misinterpretation or misunderstanding of company policies.
He / She must also develop strategic solutions to meet workforce demands and labor force trends and oversee the recruitment and selection processes as we expand.
Regardless of the size of department or the company, our human resource manager must have the skills to perform every HR function, if necessary.
Qualifications and Educational Requirements
Degree from a top undergraduate institution, preferably with Business Administration and Human Resources specialization
Minimum of 3 years of post-undergraduate, full-time work experience in Human Resources
Work experience in fast-growth, rapid-scale contexts in terms of headcount, particularly with large numbers of field staff and a diverse staff skillset
Preferred Experience and Skills
Excellent management skills
Experience in process improvement across the HR function
Keenly interested in HR issues and resolving them accordingly to Company policy
Strong compliance with systems and process
Experience working with a culturally and socioeconomically diverse workforce
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
High energy and enthusiasm level; willingness to do whatever necessary to get the job done
Experience working with Microsoft Office and HR systems How to Apply
