Details
The operations Coordinator’s main role is to coordinate and manage organizations project tasks to ensure project delivery within allocated budget and timelines. At the same time build and maintain stronger relations between donor agencies and organizing regular meetings and communications.
Operations Coordinator
The Operations Coordinator shall perform the following tasks:
Manage all office administration;
- Support Institutional strengthening activities by developing scope of work for consultants, following up on all ongoing organizational development assignments, editing reports to ensure smooth delivery technical assistance;
- Manage all relationships, liaising with the project accountant for payment;
- Handle all procurement canvassing (obtaining quotes from at least 3 sources), invoicing, and supplier relationships;
- Manage travel arrangements for all staff
- Manage project records and filing system;
- Assist in hiring any other support staff, as necessary.
- Assist with backstopping and supporting the administrative needs Manage the communications strategy of the project;
- Organize conferences and meetings;
- Manage the donor’s database ensuring all the required documentation is obtained and filed – Maintain record of all short term assignments. Make sure all documentation is obtained and filed;
- The Operations Coordinator may be called upon to provide technical assistance to partners in areas of her expertise.
- Minimum university degree in administration, economics, commerce or management;
- Speak and write English very Excellent report writing skills, note-taking, Word processing, and computer skills;
- Experience organizing conferences and meetings;
- Previous experience managing regional operations;
- Previous experience in an international office managing a wide range of administrative and office tasks and systems;
