Position: Stakeholder Liaison Officer
The Organisation: Our client is an international independent power producer with extensive international know-how in developing, financing and operating photovoltaic solar power plants.
The organisation is seeking to set up a 40MW solar power plant in Kenya.
Job Purpose: The Stakeholder Liaison Officer is responsible for the development and implementation of the firm’s policies and programs related to social impacts of its projects as set forth in the Environmental and Social Action Plan agreed upon with the key investors to the project.
The Stakeholder Liaison Officer will work in collaboration with other executives to lead and implement the company´s Policies and Programs on Stakeholder Engagement, Public Disclosure, Security Management, Grievance Redressal (for employees, contract workers and external stakeholders) and develop, implement and manage the company´s Social Investment Policy and Program.

- Develop a Security Personnel Policy for managing security personnel
- Social Investment Policy and Program

- External Communication & Internal communication
- Reporting
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences or any business related discipline
- Minimum 5 years management experience in a Community Investment or Corporate Responsibility role, or a project management role in a professional services setting.
- Thorough knowledge and understanding of Community Investment/Corporate Social Responsibility best practice in the corporate sector.
