Exciting career opportunities in Legal & Compliance department has risen and we now seek to recruit a strategic, committed & results driven Legal OfficerPurpose: We require an all-round Legal Officer with extensive hands-on experience in the Legal framework in the East African Region

Brief Summary of Key Role

• Drafting & reviewing contracts
• Interviewing and preparing witnesses for trial
• Researching and drafting legal advises on contracts and Litigation matters affecting RVR
• Assisting in insurance claim’s review and offering legal advise
• Attending hearings and keeping track on trails and rulings
• Preparing legal briefs and instructing external legal teams accordingly
• Attending staff disciplinary committee hearings and giving legal advice on the same
• Preparing Management reports and minutes
• Keeping all records of RVR legal documents and ensuring their safe custody
• Education / Knowledge / Training
• Must possess a degree in Law awarded by a recognized University
• A diploma in Law from the Kenya School of Law
• Thorough knowledge of Legal systems within the East African Region
• Compliance with the requirements of Chapter six of the constitution.
