Kirinyaga University College (KyUC) was established by Legal Order No.108 ofAugust, 2011 as a constituent college of Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology.
The University College aims at becominga world class university in training, research, technology and innovation for development. The University is strategically located next to Kirinyaga County Headquarters and is serviced by tarmac road from all directions.
The University College invites applications from suitably qualified and experienced persons with excellent academic credentials to fill the following positions in the School of Health Sciences:
Lab Attendant
Requirements for Lab Attendant Jobs in Kenya
Applicants must;
- Have diploma in Community Health Nursing or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution;
- Have at least three (3) years clinical experience in any of the following areas;
- Midwifery, Medical-Surgical, Critical Care Nursing, Pediatrics Nursing, Psychiatry/Mental Health Nursing Or Community Health Nursing;
- Be registered and hold a valid practicing license from the Nursing Council of Kenya;
- Show evidence of attendance of short courses in various medical fields since qualification;
- Have KCSE mean grade c (plain) and above;
- Have knowledge of relevant computer packages.
- In addition, the applicants will be required to have undertaken skills lab training.
Successful candidates will be offered a competitive remuneration package
Employment will be on permanent and pensionable terms except for Adjunct and Tutorial Fellow
positions who will be engaged on contract terms.
Those with degrees from foreign universities should attach certificates of equation and recognition of
qualifications from Commission for University Education.
