Kenya Fluorspar Company is a corporate mining concern based in the Kerio Valley with a workforce of about 360 employees and 250 on outsourced activities.
We produce fluorspar for world export markets only.
The Company invites all interested persons with the qualifications stated here below to apply for the following advertised position:
Procurement Officer
Qualifications:-
- Diploma/Degree level of education – Preferably B.A, B/Com, BBA, BSC (Eng).
- A professional qualification in purchasing. (At least a Diploma in Purchasing).
- At least 5 years’ experience in a similar position.
- Must have worked in a technical institution/ Industry.
- Must be computer literate.
- Must be well conversant with customs procedures
- Must be in possession of a valid driving licence
- Must at same time take control of materials handling (Stores spares) of the Company and oversee a staff of 12 people
- Must have previous exposure and experience in a supervisory capacity
