Team Purpose – Labs for Financial Inclusion
•MasterCard Labs for Financial Inclusion is focused on leveraging innovative technology to drive wide scale growth of financial inclusion across Africa.
•The Labs for Financial Inclusion will leverage proven MasterCard Labs innovation methodologies, along with MasterCard assets and expertise, to ideate, prototype, pilot and bring to market breakthrough payment solutions which address the financial needs of the poor.
Engineer, Software Development – MasterCard Labs for Financial Inclusion
•MasterCard is looking for an experienced and passionate Software Developer to join MasterCard Labs for Financial Inclusion.
•As a Software developer for the Lab, you will be a key member of a highly agile group driving hard to bring innovative payment solutions to the unbanked and underserved in East Africa.
•We are looking for an experienced Software Engineer with proven experience in the development of leading edge software solutions. You will report to the Technology Lead and will be responsible for building innovative new products, working in a lean start-up environment.

•Contribute ideas to help ensure that required standards and processes are in place and actively look for opportunities to enhance standards and improve process efficiency.
•Support collection and reporting of project and software metrics.
