Job Title: Workshop Assistant

Watervale Investments is a young and quickly-growing company serving the furniture industry in Kenya. We manufacture and trade in furniture making materials as well as finished furniture.

Our main office is located on Mombasa Road, near Cabanas.We believe in being a fair and honest employer and providing our employees with opportunity based on performance and merit.

The Workshop Assistant is an entry-level role which supports many of the key functions of our company. Employees start in this role on a “casual” basis, earning 600 Kshs per day worked.
Workshop Assistants with strong performance may become eligible for permanent contracts and promotions based on performance in the role. Several members of our permanent staff started with the company in this role.

There are no strict requirements in terms of formal qualifications.
We are looking for any motivated and capable individual who is willing to undertake tasks such as:
Assist in light manufacturing of furniture and furniture-making materials
Prepare samples for customers
Conduct errands and deliveries within the Nairobi area
Assist with office administrative tasks
Assist with any other activities as needs arise
