The Busia County Public Service Board wishes to recruit a competent and qualified person to fill the
following vacant positions as per Section 44 (3) (a), (b), (c), (d) of the County Governments Act, 2012.

3 Years Renewable Contract

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Theoretical and practical instruction of trainees in the specified area of specialization.
  • Preparing and maintaining professional documents including schemes of work.
  • Preparing lesson plans, lesson notes, trainee’s records, teaching and learning materials, carrying out trainee’s assessment.
  • Ensuring proper care and maintenance of tools and equipment
  • Conducting co-curricular activities and Organizing co- curricular activities
  • Maintaining trainees discipline and guiding and counselling trainees
Requirements for Appointment
  • Diploma in Technical Education in the respective field (s)
  • KCSE C- (Minus)
  • Teaching experience in a youth polytechnic or any vocational training institution.
  • Computer knowledge will be an added advantage

Short listed candidates shall be required to produce their original National Identity Cards, Academic and Professional Certificates and Testimonials.

Police Clearance Certificate from Criminal Investigations Department (C.I.D)
Clearance Certificate from the Higher Education Loans Board (HELB)
Tax Compliance Certificate from Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA)
Ethics & Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC) Form
Canvassing will lead to automatic disqualification
