What you can expect from our client:

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing strategic leadership in the development of ornamentals business in the Kenya area in accordance with the values and the principles of the clients Group.

The incumbent will be responsible for implementing the go to market strategy for ornamentals, defend and develop the client’s products in the ornamentals market, ensure that sales targets are met, oversee planning and management of sales accounts and be responsible for monitoring and reporting on market and competitor activities.
The candidate will maintain a high level of technical competency with customer focus, attend and present technical product information at external and internal customer meetings, actively represent client’s interests in ornamentals forum as well as contributing towards maintaining the long-term competitiveness of the client’s Group.

What our client expects:

• The ideal candidate should possess a Degree in Agriculture, or Crop Protection, or Plan Pathology or Entomology, or Horticulture or any other related field coupled with 5 years sales experience in the Agriculture field.
• Candidates must be well informed and experienced within the ornamentals growing dynamics in Kenya.
• Customer account experience, field experience and sales experience are necessary for this role.
• Candidates must be a team player, must have strong interpersonal skills, self- driven and motivated, and have strong organizational skills as well as excellent communications skills both verbal and written.
• They must be proficient in computer skills and must have valid driver’s license.
