Our client, a high calibre Training Institute, is looking for a Research and Consulting Coordinator.

Terms of Reference for the job:

  • Identifying and delivering consultancy/research projects and developing direction of business implementation strategy
  • Building a corporate culture which attracts high caliber employees, encourages hard work and makes working for the Institute a rewarding experience
  • Planning and directing the organization’s activities to achieve stated/agreed targets and standards for financial and business performance, quality, culture and legislative adherence
  • Preparing Quarterly briefs for the Executive Director on all consultancy/research operations of the Institute. The brief should be a logical consolidation of reports supplied upwards from the individual business units
  • Lead the Institute’s departmental consultancy/research development strategy
  • Oversee opportunities, due diligence, deal negotiation, and integration
  • Oversee deals after close, including ensuring right go-to-market strategy, to ensure successful integration
  • Play a leading role to improve the quality of work delivered by the Institute through Quality Assurance Checks
  • Independently explore opportunities to engage senior executives and/or their representative agents in search of new business in line with corporate strategic plan
  • Track and manage performance of acquired businesses and the contractual obligations for the Institute and the client
  • Communicate regularly with the Institute’s senior management team regarding business development activities and performance management
  • Provide insights from the market to inform future business development and new product development inquiries
  • Develop strategy based products and ensure they reach the market
  • Implementation and service delivery of strategy solution to clients
  • Validation of company KPIs and KRAs and offering remedial action against any variance.
Qualifications and Requirements include:
  • A Master degree in business and/or related field
  • Practical experience in similar consultancy work
  • Good in Marketing and acquiring corporate business
  • Can work well with clients and partners
  • A creative and strategic thinker
  • Ability to deliver is key
  • At least 5 years of experience
