PURPOSE
- To develop, implement and monitor effectiveness of various risk management tools to continuously enhance data-driven credit decision
- To ensure full compliance to the Bank’s credit and local regulatory requirements through effective control mechanism across all credit cycle functions
Key Roles & Responsibilities
RESPONSIBILITIES
Support the development of management information systems, which form the statistical base for the formulation and modification of credit policies.- Provision of accurate, relevant and timely management reports for Retail Clients Credit portfolio including Group, Regional and Country reports;
- Provide strategic support to collections through provision of collection liners per the collection strategy, capacity planning, cost management and preparation of collections scorecards as per the Group collections guidelines;
- Support the policy team in the CAD (Credit Approval Document) formulation and preparation;
- Perform periodic monitoring and analyses of portfolio performance to ensure that sound portfolio quality is maintained;
- Preparation of regulatory reporting requirement by liasing with Country Finance;
- Conducting stress tests and annual ICAAP as per required frequency mandated;
- Understanding and defining Bureau requirements, including change management;
- Conduct loan loss forecasting for the Retail Clients portfolio as per the credit loss recognition policy;
- Carry out market and competitor analyses to pro-actively benchmark SCB Retail portfolio against the market;
- To establish early warning mechanisms, stress tests and contingency plans for business recovery management purposes.
Qualifications & Skills
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
- Graduate with 2-3 year experience of Credit/statistics and or qualified accountant
- Strong analytical skills with ability to use analytical tools such as SAS
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good Computer skills with knowledge use of analytical tools
