Our Client, an international NGO whose core business is reproductive health and family planning to millions of the world’s poorest and vulnerable women is seeking to recruit a Regional Coordinator who will be mainly responsible for overseeing the coordination of planning, implementation, monitoring and reporting of selected organization’s activities across channels of services delivery and other projects in the designated counties of the assigned region
Duties and Responsibilities
Oversee performance of the organization channels at regional level through effective people management, planning and budget administration.
Coordinate implementation of the organization activities within the region to maximize on the program outputs.
Undertake continuous stakeholder’s engagement at the regional level.
Undertake efficient and effective grants management of multiple donor funded programs in the region through effective monitoring and evaluation of individual grants performance.
Support the organization growth as a sustainable organization including institutionalizing operations within regional health structures.
Support channel leads within the region to undertake proper planning of staffing requirements to ensure continuous delivery of services.
Support regional level planning, implementation, reporting, learning and reflection through coordinating and leading timely review meetings across the channels
Skills and Qualifications
First degree or equivalent in Health/ biological sciences, or related discipline.
Proven 5 years of relevant experience.
Possession of MPH, MSc. Development Studies, M.A Project Management and any relevant course is an added advantage.
Must be computer literate and be at ease with report writing
Project cycle management training desirable
Must be attuned to and be comfortable with the culture/ traditions of the people.
Clear ability to identify and set targets.
