The successful incumbent will be expected to provide detailed reports including reconciliations, operations, finance and sales performances relating to EA transactions ; ensure that processes, structures and reporting content complies with BASF guidelines, perform month end closing activities relevant to EA AB transactions, perform detailed analysis of plant performance highlighting variance to key performance indicators and undertake review of plant reports, ensuring consistency of information with other reports e.g. monthly production reports, maintain internal controls at the site, prepare and perform regular stock counts and ensure that adequate internal controls are in place for inventory, track and monitor evolution of key stock balances and movements and ensure adequacy of provisioning. The incumbent should provide assistance to the functional operational units.
Desired Skills and Experience
The ideal candidate should possess a relevant tertiary qualification in Finance or Business coupled with at least 3 years experience preferably in a finance environment, with understanding of the P2P (Procurement to Pay process). Candidates should have a high level of analytical ability, performance management skills as well as the ability to pay attention to detail. Ability to meet deadlines and able to handle pressure is required. SAP experience is preferred for this role
