A State Corporation in the Agriculture Sector invites applications from qualified Kenyans for the following positions:
Support Staff
1 Position
Ref: VA/6/2/2015
Major Duties and Responsibilities
General cleaning.
Messengerial duties
Other routine work as may be assigned
Technical duties as may be assigned
Key Qualifications
Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) grade C- (minus) or its recognized equivalent.
Rider
1 Position
Ref: VA/7/2/2015
Major Duties and Responsibilities
Drive the assigned motor cycle ensuring the safety of parcels, motor cycle and other road users for the transport of authorized parcels.
Responsible for the day to day maintenance of the assigned motor cycle.
Responsible for the cleanliness of the motor cycle including arraigning it for repair using the prevailing procedure
Log official trips as per government procedure and policies including mileage, consumption, route etc.
Ensure motor cycle documents are current including display of insurance cover at all times observe traffic rules and regulations
Report accidents or incidents immediately to the supervisor and ensure that steps required by rules and regulations are taken in case of involvement in accident.
Key Qualifications
Passed suitability Rider test Grade test III
Basic knowledge in minor motor cycle repairs and maintenance
Capable of defensive riding
Defensive Rider’s license from the Automobile Association of Kenya or a recognized institution will be an added advantage.
Have First aid certificate from St. Johns Ambulance or Kenya Highway and Building Technology
