Job Description

The role of the I.T Support Officer includes but is not limited to:
Installing and configuring computer hardware operating systems and applications
Setting up new users and issuing staff workstations as per specification
Monitoring and maintaining computer systems and networks
Taking staff through a series of actions, either face to face or over the telephone to help set up systems or resolve issues
Troubleshooting system and network problems and solving hardware or software faults
Replacing parts as required
Providing support, including procedural documentation and relevant reports
Supporting the roll-out of new applications
Setting up new users’ accounts and profiles and dealing with password issues
Working continuously on a task until completion (or referral to third parties, if appropriate)
Prioritizing and managing many open cases at one time
Managing stocks of equipment, and other I.T supplies
Qualifications and Experience
Degree/ Diploma in I.T
Additional Certifications in I.T is an added advantage
1- 2 years and above work experience in a similar role
Excellent computer skills
People skills to enable you handle problems
Proactive, Entrepreneurial and proven ability to deliver exceptional results.
