Job Description

We are a leading IT firm based in Nairobi. We offer Web Design, Domain Registration, Web Hosting, Bulk SMS Solutions and Internet Marketing. We seek to recruit a Web Developer Intern/ Attaché.
Descriptions

The intern will work hand in hand with senior developers varying website design and development projects. (Conceptualization, design and development of website demos for various clients and redesign and development of existing websites
Details

Intern/ Attaché Roles and Responsibilities
  • Design and develop websites from scratch using Content management systems
  • Code basic HTML with the use of Adobe Dreamweaver
  • Take project requirements and create new website design templates and website elements utilizing Photoshop
  • Work with and understand basic JavaScript and related concepts of 3rd party components
  • Review and evaluate existing website designs and look for ways to improve them
  • Learn project and task management processes
  • Learn website hosting concepts and multi-server development environments
  • Design web advertisements, banner ads, and corporate identities to match look and feel of brands
Qualifications
  • Diploma / Degree certificate in IT or any related major field
  • Proficiency in Content Management Systems (CMS) e.g. Joomla, WordPress, Open Cart and Drupal.
  • Ability to work independently with minimum or no supervision.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
  • Ability to work in a team
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Creativity and willingness to learn
Duration 3 months

The start date is immediate upon hire.
