Quality Assurance Manager

Summary:

- Monitoring and ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations about food safety at a cheese manufacturing plant.

Job Duties:

Maintain a safe food supply to our customers

Ensure that the HACCP standards are being adhered to in the factory

Keep factory up-to-date with municipal and Government regulations regarding food processing plants’.

Work alongside our factory manager ensuring all hygiene and cleaning standards are met

Carry our basic hand swabs and basic lab tests for testing hygiene


Interface with and train employees about standards

Qualifications:

Must have at least one of the following two:
Degree in food science, microbiology or a related field
Two or more years of experience as a food safety inspector/specialist/manager

Knowledge of or certification with HACCP/ISO 22,000

Effective communication skills

Proficient computer skills, especially with Microsoft Excel



Other Information:

Factory is based near Limuru.

Salary range: 50,000-90,000/- dependant on experience
